Dear Participants,
A very warm welcome to the XVII Nordic Copyright Symposium in Visby! When Gotland is at its loveliest, the Swedish Copyright Society has the pleasure of inviting you to another Nordic gathering. The last time the symposium was held on the island was in 1992.

At Wisby Strand, on the edge of the Baltic Sea, we will meet to analyse and discuss the interaction of Nordic copyright and EU law. As usual, the symposium will feature an update on national developments since the last meeting.

During the conference there will be opportunites for you to see more of Gotland. For those wishing to stay an extra day, an excursion is planned to Bergman's Fårö on Saturday.

Welcome!

Jan Rosén
